Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Search and browse requests you make in the app (queries, filters, and related metadata needed to return results).
• A random session identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) used for rate limiting and optional saved filters before you create an account.
• If you create an account: email and authentication data (handled by Convex Auth), plus saved filters you choose to store. If you Sign in with Google, Google is the identity provider and we receive the name, email, and profile photo Google shares for that account.
• If you leave an email for updates: that address is stored so we can send product news and ready-made filter links.
• Product analytics events (for example page views and feature use) via Vercel Analytics, plus standard hosting logs (Vercel and Convex) which may include IP address and timestamps.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account for core search and filtering.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use ads-based tracking pixels in the free product.

Third parties

Title data and images come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Hosting and backend services are provided by Vercel and Convex. Optional Google sign-in is provided by Google. Their privacy policies apply to data they process on our behalf.
