TV-PG ceiling: exclude TV-14, R, and TV-MA
A lower living-room ceiling than family night — TV-14 is out, not just R and TV-MA.

Excluding R and TV-MA is the default mixed-age rule. Some households want TV-14 out as well: younger tweens, a sitter, or a no-TV-14 house rule. This preset excludes three chips: TV-14, R, and TV-MA.
Kids, PG, PG-13, and TV-PG can still appear. PG-13 movies are not the same as TV-14 series; this filter allows PG-13 unless you remove it in the app.
How to use it
Open the link and browse. Lock a service if tonight is one app. If the list is too small, you are over-filtering — drop TV-14 from the exclude list or use family night instead.
FAQ
- Is PG-13 excluded?
- No. This ceiling targets TV-14 and mature ratings. Remove PG-13 in the app if you want that gone too.
- Are unrated titles included?
- Yes, unless you switch to include mode. Unknown ratings can slip through exclude lists.
