PG-13 and under on Disney+: Kids, PG, and PG-13 only

Include Kids, PG, and PG-13 only — a quick preset for younger viewers on Disney+.

Disney+ is not only kids’ movies

Disney+ carries Pixar and Marvel alongside Star and other catalogs that include teen and adult ratings. A household that thinks of the service as “the kids app” still sees PG-13 action and, depending on region and bundle, titles that are not meant for grade-schoolers. Profile pins help at playback time; they do not clean up a cross-title search you run before anyone sits down.

This preset uses include mode: only Kids, PG, and PG-13 stay in the list. Include is stricter than exclude. If a title is TV-14, R, TV-MA, or unrated on our chips, it drops out even if Disney+ would show it in a mixed search.

What “Kids” means here

On Umami Rate, the Kids chip covers G, TV-Y, TV-G, and TV-Y7. Combined with PG and PG-13, the preset is a ceiling around the MPAA PG-13 line plus common kids TV ratings — not a guarantee that every PG-13 film is gentle. PG-13 still includes intensity, language, and themes you may want to preview.

The service filter is Disney+ only. If tonight’s options also include Hulu or Max, use the family-night guide instead, or add those services after you open the app.

When to reach for this link

Use it when the room is younger viewers plus a parent, and you want Disney+ without hunting through mature rows. Share the URL so a partner opens the same ceiling. If you need preschool-only, switch to the kids-only preset (Kids chip, all services) rather than leaving PG-13 in the include list.

FAQ

Why include PG-13 instead of stopping at PG?
Many Disney+ family watches sit at PG-13 (superhero films, some live-action). Remove PG-13 from the include list in the app if you want a lower ceiling.
Does this include Hulu on a Disney bundle?
No. The preset is Disney+ only. Add Hulu in the service bar if your bundle should be in the same search.
